Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Bus Attendance App (“App”).

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Bus Attendance App, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not use the App. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Description of Service

The Bus Attendance App is a school transportation attendance management platform designed exclusively for authorized school administrators and bus incharges. The App enables users to:

Track and record student boarding and alighting
Manage bus routes, schedules, and staff assignments
View historical attendance and generate reports
Receive compliance alerts for insurance and PUC documents
Manage student and staff data securely

User Eligibility & Account Registration

Access is restricted to authorized school personnel only
You confirm you are an employee or administrator of the institution
You must provide accurate and complete registration information
You are responsible for maintaining credential confidentiality
Credential sharing is strictly prohibited
Accounts are non-transferable

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

Use the App for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
Upload malware or harmful content
Falsify or manipulate attendance records
Harass or harm students, staff, or users
Reverse-engineer or extract source code
Sell or commercially exploit the App without permission

User Data & Privacy

Use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to data collection and processing as described therein. You are responsible for ensuring that student data entered complies with applicable data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including text, graphics, logos, and source code — are the exclusive property of IotaBuild and are protected by intellectual property laws. A limited, non-exclusive, revocable license is granted solely for intended use.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”
No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation
No liability for indirect or consequential damages
Total liability shall not exceed fees paid in the last 12 months
No responsibility for losses due to device or network failures

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access without notice if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if your institution ends its agreement with us. Upon termination, all rights to use the App cease immediately.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in India. Users are encouraged to seek amicable resolution before legal proceedings.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, via in-app notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
